BMW is adding some advanced automotive technologies to its 2016 7 Series luxury sedan, including a remote-control parking feature, control of the infotainment system with three-dimensional features, and a structure made partially out of carbon fiber.
The more extensive use of carbon fiber will shave nearly 290 pounds from the curb weight.
The vehicle will be powered by a new generation of engines, including a turbocharged inline-six with an eight-speed transmission. An adaptive air suspension allows various driving modes.
