Vancouver-based Cannabix Technologies Inc. is finalizing a product its calling a "pot breathalyzer" that officers could use to enforce drugged driving, according to a Reuters report.
The product comes at a time when more and more states are loosening restrictions on marijuana use. Cannabix, which was founded by a retired officer, has begun testing of a prototype.
The device would detect the presence of THC by registering a simple 'yes' or 'no' at the time of the test.
