It’s not easy being a truck driver.

Theirs is a demanding job that has them on the road and away from home for what can sometimes feel like forever.

But, it’s work made easier knowing that someone cares.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, sponsored by the American Trucking Associations, is a time for folks to show that truck drivers and the hard work they do matter.

And, Overdrive’s sister publication, Truckers News, is going to help them show it with iLuvMyTrucker!

We want folks to tell us about the truckers they love, and why they are so special.

Then, during this year’s Truck Driver Appreciation Week – Sept. 13-19 – Truckers News will showcase professional truck drivers who have been nominated. Judges will choose one extra-special driver to be recognized.

Nominations are open. You can click here to upload a photo of the trucker you love, and fill in the form to tell us, “I luv my trucker because …”

And, if you are going to be at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas Aug. 27-29, you can make your nomination in person at the Truckers News booth, #1051.
