Audi's 2017 Q7, its flagship luxury SUV, will retail for at least $55,750 as it enters that model year with new driver assistance systems and connectivity features, Audi has announced.
The second-generation Q7 will go on sale in early 2016 in three trim models, including the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige with price tags of $55,750, $59,750, and $65,250.
The Q7 3.0T quattro is powered by a supercharged DOHC V-6 that makes 333 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. Audi pairs the engine with an 8-speed transmission.
For 2017, the seven-passenger Q7 will offer availabel driver assistance packages including adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist. Audi is adding connectivity such as the Audi virtual cockpit, a Q7 app for Apple or Android, and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto smartphone integration.
The virtual cockpit provides a 12.3-inch display with an NVIDIA quad-core processor to display Google map images supported by 4G LTE. The display is placed directly in front of the driver to keep eyes on the road.
