Alliance AutoGas' engineers converted a Ford F-150 truck to run on propane autogas in one hour and 32 minutes. The company set the record for the fastest recorded alternative fuel conversion.
Alliance AutoGas technicians, Stephen Holland and Stacey Snyder, installed the company's conversion system on a bi-fuel 2016 3.5L Ford F-150 V-6 almost 30 minutes faster under the predicted two hour window at the Work Truck Show. Over 100 participants attended the press event and watched the live conversion at the Indianapolis Convention Center on Thursday, March 3.
"It is a definitive message that our system will take the lead on reducing costs and any barriers associated with fleet conversions going forward throughout North America," said Stuart Weidie, president of Alliance AutoGas.
