Holden to End Australian Cruze Production

GM Holden has confirmed that it will end production of the locally-made Cruze small car at its Elizabeth, South Australia, plant in early October.

Holden’s Elizabeth plant will continue to manufacture the Commodore range until the end of 2017.

The Cruze will be replaced by the all-new Astra as part of Holden’s plan to launch 24 new models by 2020, refreshing or replacing every single model in the Holden portfolio, according to the automaker.

Ongoing warranty, servicing, and parts availability for all Cruze models across Holden’s 230-strong national Dealership network remains unchanged, according to the company.
