Adrian Steel has introduced a line of composite partitions for cargo vans that provide more leg room and better climate control for the driver.
The partitions from the Adrian, Mich., upfitter provide several other benefits over a traditional steel partition for fleets and drivers who spend eight to 12 hours a day in their mobile office.
In addition to being lighter weight, the partitions offer improvements around climate control, sound deadening, leg room, and accessorization of cargo. Due to its material, the partition allows the cab area to cool down or heat up more quickly. It can reduce harshness from cargo noise. It allows full seat travel with a comfortable recline angle, according to Adrian Steel.
The partitions also allow fleets to hang cargo or safety items such as fire extinguishers or first-aid kits.
The partitions are now available for the Ford Transit and Transit Connect. Other vehicle models are coming soon.
