Cadillac's 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder is now the base engine for the 2017 ATS entry luxury sedan, replacing the base 2.5L four-cylinder that it will phase out, reports Automotive News.
ATS buyers will continue to have the option of purchasing the vehicle with the 3.6L V-6.
With the new base engine, ATS buyers will also have options such as a Bose surround-sound system for about the same price as the 2016 model.
