Mazda3 to Receive Mid-Cycle Update for 2017

Mazda Motor Corp.'s Mazda3 compact sedan will receive a mid-cycle update for 2017 that includes a new vehicle dynamics technology known as G-Vectoring Control.

The 2017 Mazda3 will go on sale in the U.S. later this year. It went on sale in Japan on July 13 as the Mazda Axela.

G-Vectoring Control shifts weight to the front of the car and cuts a minimal amount of torque to the engine to improve steering, according to Jacob Brown, a Mazda spokesman.
