Porsche Opens $60M Experience Center in SoCal

Porsche Cars North America has opened a $60 million Porsche Experience Center in Carson, Calif. — its second such U.S. facility that provides a location for enthusiasts and corporate groups to hone their driving skills.

The 53-acre center is also home to Porsche Motorsport North America. It features a driver development track with eight educational modules totaling 4.1 miles. It also includes a rotating race car exhibit and fine-dining restaurant, according to Porsche.

Porsche built a similar, more elaborate facility at its new North American headquarters in Atlanta.

The center will offer instructor-led 90-minute experiences on the driver development track in Porsche sports cars.
