Nissan North America is recalling 509 2017-model year Infiniti QX30 SUVs because the passenger air bag inflator initiator may fail to ignite during a crash, preventing the air bag from deploying.
The vehicles at issue were manufactured from Aug. 11, 2016 to Sept. 27, 2016, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Nissan dealers will replace the passenger air bag assembly, free of charge. Vehicle owners can reach Nissan customer service at (800) 647-7261.
