BMW and Nissan will expand their ChargeNow by EVgo program to more than 50 metro areas in 33 states to create what they say will be the largest public DC fast-charging network in the U.S.

As a result of the expansion, more than 92% BMW i3, BMW i8, BMW iPerformance and Nissan LEAF drivers will be able to access the ChargeNow by EVgo program and recieve no-cost and low-cost public charging access.

EVgo's fast charging network now offers more than 668 dual-port DC fast-charging stations supported by supplemental Level 2 chargers. In 2017, another 50 DC fast chargers will be installed and added to ChargeNow by EVgo programs for BMW and Nissan drivers.

BMW and Nissan owners can enroll for a ChargeNow by EVgo program at the network's website. Once enrolled, drivers can locate EVgo chargers with ConnectedDrive in their vehicle, either using the in-vehicle navigation or by using the BMW or Nissan mobile app.
