Tennessee guv unveils 12-cent diesel tax hike as part of legislative agenda

Haslam's "IMPROVE Act" proposed legislation would address a dearth of road funding in the state with the diesel hike and other taxes. Other states have moved in similar directions in lieu of any increase in federal funds for infrastructure.
