Hyundai's 2018 Sonata will arrive with new safety features such as blind spot detection with a rear cross-traffic alert in addition to new body styling and LED daytime running lights, the company announced at the New York International Auto Show.
In addiiton to blind spot detection, the 2018 Sonata will offer a new lane departure warning system with an available enhanced Lane Keep Assist function.
The 2018 Sonata will arrive with a new look from the front, side and rear that includes a "cascading" grille, more assertive profile and new rear with slim taillights.
Hyundai is also upgrading the Blue Link infotainment system to incorporate driver convenience features such as remote door lock, remote start with climate control and a monthly vehicle health report as connected-vehicle services.
