Donlen’s John Wuich and Amy Blaine to Present “Using Predictive Analytics to Optimize Vehicle Replacement Decisions” Session at NAFA 2017

Donlen announces that John Wuich, CAFM®, VP, strategic consulting services, and Amy Blaine, VP of analytics at Donlen will present the Using Predictive Analytics to Optimize Vehicle Replacement Decisions session at the 2017 NAFA I&E in Tampa, Florida

The session will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m. EDT.

The 2017 NAFA I&E offers fleet professionals a full week of high quality fleet management education sessions, which are current and relevant to their success.

During the Using Predictive Analytics to Optimize Vehicle Replacement Decisions session, attendees will learn:

  • The advantages of using a predictive model to make vehicle replacement recommendations
  • The factors that are most useful in predicting increased vehicle cost as the vehicle ages and/or vehicle failure
  • How this new methodology can simplify the vehicle replacement decision process

“Predictive analytics are becoming increasingly valuable for fleet managers,” said Wuich. “For fleet professionals who are new to predictive models, this session offers insight into the advantages of predictive analytics and ways that fleet managers can determine optimal vehicle cycling parameters based on predictive data.”

In his current role, Wuich manages a team of strategic consultants focused on using historical, behavioral and fiscal data trends and analysis to reduce lifecycle costs, improve safety and increase compliance. For more than 20 years, his contributions have resulted in strategic alignment of programs and policies with business direction, reduced administrative burden, and an overall improved bottom-line. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in project management, and he proudly earned his Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation in 2016.

Blaine holds a master’s degree in statistics, and a master’s in environmental management and sustainability. She has been helping companies make data-driven decisions for over 20 years. Amy leads Donlen’s predictive analytics team, which is focused on updating and developing new FleetWeb® predictive models. These models help customers make fleet forecasts, allowing them to save money and reduce fleet emissions.
