The 2017 Global Fleet Conference will feature a presentation that will address how proposed policy changes by the Trump administration may impact the North American fleet market.

Mike Antich, editor of Automotive Fleet, will examine how President Trump’s initiatives in major infrastructure investment, pro-growth oil production, corporate tax reform, and rollback of regulations may impact vehicle procurement, fuel prices, operating costs, fleet-related taxes, and vehicle remarketing in the commercial fleet markets in North America. The presentation will be held June 8 at 1:30 pm.

Other forward looking topics that will be discussed at the conference include a panel on how disruptive technologies will impact global fleet management. This presentation will analyze emerging disruptive technologies, and how they may affect the way multinational corporations operate and manage their fleets on a regional or global basis.

The panel will be co-presented by Kevin Mulcahy and Rose Rodriquez of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., which is based out of Silicon Valley.

Other panels featured at the conference include: How to Create a Global Fuel Procurement Strategy, Best Practices in Global Supplier Relationship Management, Top 10 Trends That Will Influence the Future of Global Fleet Management

The conference is also scheduled to feature regional fleet market updates for North America, Europe, Australasia, and South America.

The 2017 Global Fleet Conference will be held June 6 to 8 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami. Fleet managers who register by May 5 will receive preferred pricing.

More information on the 2017 conference and schedule of events can be found on the conference website.
