Clean Fuels Ohio and the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association are hosting the annual Midwest Green Fleets Forum & Expo in Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 1 to 2, for fleets interested in alt-fuel vehicles and those involved in advanced fuel and vehicle technology sectors.
The first day of the conference will focus on workshops focused on fleet financing, group purchasing strategies, and technician training on advanced vehicle technologies, according to Clean Fuels Ohio. Aug.1 activities will also include a vehicle showcase to provide opportunities for hands-on experience.
The second day will feature six panels, which includes focus on smart mobility and logistics, alternative fuel options, efficiency technologies, electric vehicle deployment strategy, telematics, and leading fleet best practices.
Speakers from across the country and across the fleet industry will be at the expo, including: Michael Berube, director of vehicle technologies office, US Department of Energy; Doyle Sumrall, managing director, NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry; Michael Taylor, director of autogas business development, Propane Education & Research Center; Michael Roeth, executive director, North American Council for Freight Efficiency; and Sherrie Merrow, advocacy committee chairman, NGVAmerica.
The expo floor will include approximately 40 companies displaying products and services for fleets interested in advanced fuel and vehicle technologies, according to Clean Fuels Ohio.
