Fiat Chrysler's Ram Truck brand introduced a trio of new 2018 pickup models ahead of the Texas State Fair in a state that accounts for one of every pickup sold in the U.S.
Ram announced it will offer the Laramie Longhorn Southfork for 1500, 2500, and 3500 that enhances the Longhorn trim; Lone Star Silver model of the 2500 and 3500 for Texas; and Harvest editions that provide LED lighting and other enhancements.
The Ram Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition adds luxury enhancements to an upper-tier model, including full-grain leather seating, a walnut-trimmed steering wheel, floormats with metal badging, galvanized-appearance trim pieces, and Uconnect 4C 8.4-inch screen with 4G Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition is available on multiple models, including Crew Cab or Mega Cab and long or short box. The truck starts at $51,220 plus a $1,395 destination. The Ram 2500 Heavy Duty models retail for $55,620 plus $1,395.
The Heavy Duty Lone Star Silver Edition follows the Ram 1500 Lone Star Edition. The truck offers three engine choices, including the Cummins 6.7-liter inline-six cylinder, and starts at $46,130. Upgrades include a luxury grille, chrome side mirrors and side steps, 20-inch wheels, and front tow hooks.
