Senate eyes promoting self-driving truck tech in autonomous-car bill approved by House

The House this week stamped approval on a legislative package intended to provide framework for manufacturers to develop and test self-driving cars. The Senate, however, may alter the bill to expand its provisions to cover self-driving trucks.
