Hyundai Motor America is recalling 197 2018-model year Santa Fe Sport compact SUVs because of faulty front coil springs, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
All of the affected vehicles, however, are still unsold and located on dealer lots.
“The front coil springs may have been improperly manufactured and, as a result, may fracture under certain loads while driving,” NHTSA warned on its website.
Dealers will replace both front coil springs, free of charge, prior to the vehicle's sale.
