Honda said it’s recalling approximately 800,000 2011-2017 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. because the second-row outboard seats may tip forward if they’re not properly latched.

If a second-row seat isn’t latched correctly after someone adjusts it side-to-side or reinstalls a removed seat, the seat may tip forward during moderate to heavy braking. The company has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to the issue, Honda said in a released statement.

“Honda is currently investigating the appropriate repairs to help ensure proper latching and will notify owners when that free repair is available,” the company said.

In the meantime, Honda has created a detailed instruction sheet and will soon post a video that details proper operation of the second-row seats.

Recall notifications will be mailed beginning in late December. To verify whether a particular vehicle is included in this recall, click here and search by VIN.

Vehicle owners can reach Honda at (888) 234-2138.
