Mazda will debut its new Mazda6 that will arrive as a more fuel efficient model with cylinder deactivation and a more performance model with turbocharging at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the company announced.
The new Mazda6 models, which will likely be offered in the 2018 model year, will be powered by a Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter gasoline engine or Skyactive-G 2.5T with turbocharging that debuted with the CX-9.
The new Mazda6 will also add a variety of i-Activsense safety technologies such as Mazda Radar Cruise Control and 360-degree monitor.
Mazda will unveil the new models at a Nov. 29 press conference at 10:30 a.m. West Coast time.
