Nissan North America is recalling 4,883 2016 and 2017 Nissan Rogue compact SUVs because the recliner joints on the rear lower seat frames may have faulty welds, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Nissan dealers will perform an inspection of the rear seat frames. Any defective lower seat frames will be replaced without charge, NHTSA said.
The recall is expected to begin Dec. 4. Rogue owners can reach Nissan customer service at (800) 647-7261.
