After a period of hands-on testing, Consumer Reports has identified eight vehicle infotainment systems as the least distracting to drivers.
These simple-to-operate infotainment systems are from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Uconnect 8.4-inch screen), Ford/Lincoln (Ford Sync3 only), GM (except Cadillac), Hyundai/Kia/Genesis, Nissan (standard on select models), Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen, Consumer Reports said.
The most distracting infotainment systems, according to Consumer Reports, are from Acura, Cadillac (cue only), Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla and Volvo.
Those systems that Consumer Reports deemed “moderately distracting” are from Audi, BMW, Honda, Infiniti, Mazda and Mini.
