Knight-Swift acquires 400-truck Virginia-based fleet

Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, the truckload giant formed via the merger of Knight Transportation and Swift Transportation last year, has acquired the 400-truck fleet Abilene Motor Express, according to documents filed with the SEC. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
