Subaru of America has named Thomas Doll to lead its North American business, following the departure of Tomomi Nakamura, who has become president of Subaru Corp. in Japan, the company announced.
Doll will serve as chief executive officer. Doll has served as president and chief operating officer of Subaru of America since 2013 and 2009 respectively. Doll joined the company in 1982.
In related news, Jinya "Jay" Shoji will serve as executive vice president and report to Doll. Shoji has worked in various executive roles from 2011 to 2016. His last role was as corporate vice president and chief general manager of the global marketing division.
