FMCSA extends comment period for small carrier ELD exemption request

SBTC’s petition requests an exemption from the electronic logging device mandate for carriers with fewer than 50 employees. FMCSA says “a reported technical difficulty with the online filing of comments for several days” prompted the comment period extension through July 16.
