St. Louis, August 13, 2018 – ACERTUS, has been named one of 150 Top Workplaces for 2018 by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The company, formerly known as MetroGistics, recently rebranded as ACERTUS earlier this year. With headquarters in St. Louis, ACERTUS maintains facilities in Alpharetta, Georgia, and Lenexa, Kansas.
The Post-Dispatch surveyed 44,000 people to compile its list of winners, all of which share key qualities: effective leadership, strong values, clear direction and motivated workers.
Among other things, ACERTUS was recognized for its employee amenities such as a full-service gym, including two days with a personal trainer and one day of yoga; exercise balls that can serve as seats for employees; a game room complete with ping pong, shuffleboard, Golden Tee and video games; several collaboration areas throughout the office; and the Giving Back program, in which a different employee every month selects a local charity to receive a check from the company.
ACERTUS is also committed to employee health and safety, and has implemented the ACERTUS Saver program that trains employees in CPR and first aid to assist with medical incidents and emergencies.
“From day one we set out to hire the best people we could and provide them with the best environment to excel at their jobs,” said William Billiter, MetroGistics’ co-founder and CEO of ACERTUS. “We are very honored to be named a Top Workplace in St. Louis and will continue to look for ways to engage and inspire our employees.”
MetroGistics was founded in 2010 as a vehicle-transport company. Over the last few years acquisitions helped diversify the portfolio of services offered, which created ACERTUS. These acquisitions include the logistics provider McNutt Automotive Logistics in 2014, North America’s top fleet logistics and services company AmeriFleet in 2016, and the national leader in vehicle title and registration services Metro Title Services in 2017.
