FMCSA denies request to exempt small carriers from ELD rule

FMCSA denied a request from the Small Business in Transportation Coalition that would have exempted trucking companies with 50 or fewer employees from using electronic logs. The agency said the group's application did not meet regulatory standards for an exemption.
