Toll management and payment platform Bestpass has acquired Fleetworthy Solutions, a provider of fleet safety, compliance, and risk management solutions, the company announced Tuesday. The deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, gives Bestpass a comprehensive suite of services covering all aspects of commercial fleet tolling, compliance and safety.
Both companies will continue to operate under their respective brands, but Bestpass CEO Tom Fogarty said a tie-in between the two companies will offer users "a single pane of glass” dashboard with benchmarking and analytics for fleet executives, accompanied by a host of services aimed at delivering efficiency to the back office.
CPSuite, the centerpoint of Fleetworthy’s advanced compliance consoles, Fogarty said, will ingest, analyze and display all types of data from fleets, including toll and other vehicle-related information from Bestpass. CPSuite will share toll and other information to offer single point visibility and management. Next year, Fogarty said, the company expects to produce joint products and data sets that will offer next generation analytics and benchmarking.

Bestpass has in recent years expanded beyond its original toll offering, adding violations, citations, misread detection and use tax (the last with its acquisition of ExpressTruckTax) in its own solution set, and earlier this year added weigh-station bypass, permitting and CDL Driver Protection.
