Merchants Fleet Management has hired Kim Sloan as the director of quality. In that role, Sloan will focus on the company's TotalView fleet management solution while working with the various departments to improve overall service delivery.
"Merchants Fleet Management continues its substantial investment in TotalView to streamline customer operations and reduce total cost of ownership," said Dan Hannan, executive director strategic consulting. "Kim's process, product and technology leadership accelerates our ongoing commitment to our customers."
Sloan brings a wealth of fleet management operations and customer technology knowledge where she successfully leveraged Lean Six Sigma tools, according to the company.
Sloan comes to Merchants with over eight years of experience with Hertz' Donlen Corp. where she was the vice president of project management and customer experience. Prior to that, Sloan worked for Hewitt Associates for nine years where she was the manager of global customer support and implementation.
"Making data actionable is the key to the customer experience," said Ken Kauppila, CIO. "Big data can be overwhelming if not managed and Kim's experience helps us deliver on our strategy to bring that to our clients through TotalView."
