‘Anything you can put on a flatbed': Owner-op’s ’03 Pete

HomfeldMissouri-based operator Steven Homfeld says he hauls “just about anything you can put on a flatbed” with this 2003 Peterbilt 379, the cornerstone of he and his wife Brenda’s single-truck company, B&S Livestock. Though livestock’s in the name, Homfeld said a fair amount of his runs are steel loads out of Houston. The truck, which has more than 1.5 million miles on it, is powered by a 550-hp Cat and an 18-speed transmission. Homfeld has added Hogebuilt fenders and 8-inch stacks, he says, along with a Bully Dog tuner under the hood.
