Fortress Environmental Services has opened a new three-lane truck wash on Interstate 10 between Houston and San Antonio.
One of the main benefits for truckers who stop at the Fortress Truck Wash in Waelder, Texas, according to Fortress, is that there are no stoplights, no street traffic and no waiting lines, along with overnight parking for paying customers.
Fortress’ hand-washed truck washes are scrubbed by a team of fast and friendly truck washing professionals, it says.
Truckers wishing to stop at Fortress will need to exit I-10 at mile marker 649 and drive a quarter-mile South on Highway 97.
Fortress offers truckers who use the truck wash free hot meals, drinks, free Wi-Fi access, a trucker’s break room with charging stations for phones and laptops, and showers for men and women.
The truck wash uses sloped concrete wash racks to capture all runoff water, and with a three-stage filtration system, 85 percent of the truck wash water is recycled, according to Fortress.
Fortress provides a 25 percent fleet truck wash discount to out-of-state national truck fleets that sign up for a National Fleet Frequent Truck Wash account.
