Geotab sold more than 150,000 GO7 devices to Verizon between February and June, the telematics company has announced.
Designed for fleet management applications, the GO7 detects data from the engine, drivetrain, instrument cluster and other relevant subsystems to maximize productivity and minimize downtime, with a warranty field failure rate of just 0.11 percent.
Announced in October 2014, the GO7 was certified for use on the Verizon network a few weeks later. Operator certification is a major milestone because it enabled this solution to be sold into a larger pool of potential customers, such as those that require specific geographic coverage or that prefer a particular network operator.
Designed for fleet management applications, the GO7 detects data from the engine, drivetrain, instrument cluster and other relevant subsystems to maximize productivity and minimize downtime, with a warranty field failure rate of just 0.11 percent, according to the telematics provider.
“Fleet owners value reliability, which is a major reason why the Geotab GO7 is their go-to solution for maximizing productivity and efficiency,” said Geotab CEO Neil Cawse.
