Jaguar Land Rover will expand the use of recycled aluminum in its vehicles in a program that will cut waste and help reduce carbon emissions, the Coventry, United Kingdom-based company announced.
The company will recycle scrap aluminum from the manufacturing process and end-of-life vehicles as part of the project, called Reality, that's expected to cost about $2.6 million (£2 million).
The project will be rolled out at 10 stamping facilities with aluminum being remelted by Novelis.
